Firework is one of the longest-established career coach training providers in the world
Founded in 2004 by coaches Marianne Craig (pictured above) and Kate Edmonds, the Firework Career Coach Training is the culmination of years of experience, practical creativity and a deep understanding of what it takes to engage clients through the challenging process of career change.
"We came together when we both realised that this was one area of coaching we both struggled with," says Kate. "Our existing coaching skills alone weren't sufficient to give us confidence with clients who wanted a total career makeover. So we decided to create a process that would work."
"The training requires good coaching skills to get results, but that's all it requires," says Marianne. "And it really boosts your confidence knowing that you've got a clear structured process to guide the client through – and that in turn can help you coach to your highest ability."
Marianne has helped many clients find new and fulfilling lives and careers, and dozens of coaches find confidence in a rewarding coaching niche. A graduate of Coach U and The Coaching Supervision Academy, Marianne was awarded the International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach accreditation in 2002 and ICF Master Certified Coach accreditation in 2005. As well as running a successful career coaching business, Marianne is also a Mentor Coach and Coaching Supervisor working with coach clients.
In May 2013, Firework joined forces with Careershifters, a leading UK-based career change organisation.
In July 2020, career strategist and author John Lees joined the Firework team. At the same time, the Firework methodology was updated to include many of John's most important career coaching tools.
